1 month since the birth of Kayla and Kari

Now our precious little are sound asleep together. Looks like you love being next to, and share the warmth of each other. Frozen in time is the picture of your beautiful faces, so peaceful and angelic we would never want to forget.

Kayla Jade, mommy appreciates your patience and your gentle presence. Being in NICU for 10 days, your daddy couldn't wait to take you home. At four pounds and ten ounces, your cry was so little it's barely audible. Just as quietly you entered our world. Such a beautiful and good baby you are, is why daddy and mommy love you so dearly. Watching you sleep we see a little piece of heaven, so sweet and sound. Thank you for holding the bottle yourself for all the times we couldn't. Forgive your daddy and mommy for kissing you a million times a day. You're the best baby girl we could've asked for in this life time.

Kari Jean, born so small at four and half pounds, yet is lucky enough to come home with us right away. How relieved was I to hear your cry as you shattered the silence into the world. Looks like you had made your own birth announcement... We marvelled at how tiny you were. Tiny hands, tiny feet, and tiny body. In awe with your beauty, we're keeping that sweet coy smile of yours with us forever. One month went by so quickly... you were suppose to arrive today. At 35 weeks you were as healthy as mommy and daddy could've hoped. Sofeisty is your spirit, so loud is your cry, and so weak is your stomach, but with such an angelic face, mommy's willing to hold you to sleep everyday and forever.

Two little peas in a pod, you are the love of our lives. How lucky we are to be your daddy and mommy. We are eternally thankful for the gifts from heaven.
