Botanical Garden

Today our family made it out to the beautiful botanical garden. It was a nice change of scenery, a breath of fresh air, and a whole lot of sun bathing. Kayla slept through the first half of the stroll around, while kari hopped and bounced her way around. She whispered, "hello how are you", whenever a stranger walked by. They sat and enjoyed the peaceful waterfall for a while, and wished to be there for a lot longer. There was chipmunks, blue peacocks and their offsprings, enormous fish, and gigantic turtles. kari did not want to leave the first beautiful blue peacock she saw. She asked, "Is there more? (hai-yo ma?)", before she agreed to proceed and leave the peacock behind. I could've been there all day... had it not been such a scorching sunny southern California day. The rest of the trip consists of two parents strolling the babies towards the park exit, half running, half panting, both asking "are we there yet?!?!"
